Who is Chris Wise?

Chris Wise, owner of Wise Residential.

I’m a husband to my Wonderful wife, Alisha, and a dad to our three young children. My wife and I consistently teach our children, and try to live by the Golden Rule, treat people the way you want to be treated.  You also will be given this treatment when receiving my services. I strived to keep this rule in mind while in my previous profession. After serving 26 years in law enforcement and finishing my career as a Shift Supervisor, I retired and made home servicing official, something I’ve been doing for years for my own family and others on a smaller scale.

Part of why I started Wise Residential is simple: I’ve been a victim of horrible services. When time was tight, I hired out multiple projects which I could’ve and should've, done myself. One company wouldn’t touch a mold cleanup and HVAC-closet rebuild. Another contractor turned a flooring and trim job into an incomplete mess. Late or no show excuses and surprise cash requests after a deposit was already given. I would have to fix these afore mentioned issues myself. I never want this to happen to you, and decided to combine my experience in law enforcement and non licensed home repairs, merging the customer service and organization aspect of law enforcement, with the construction skills of building and repairing. Creating a legitimate and professional home Services business.

My hands-on experience started young. At the age of 18 I learned to frame houses. This is where I learned and implemented the habits I still use today. Do it right the first time, keep it level and true, and make the next person’s job easier. I would then sign up for a four year stent in the Air Force National Guard. There I learned what “attention to detail," means. A concept that is at the core of what I do. I then proudly served 26 years in law enforcement. It was a profession requiring many faces, skills and a lot of patients. Accountability, punctuality, and accuracy were non-negotiable there. Flash forward to present day, It’s a new trade, but same rules. Show up- on time, do it correctly, professionally, and stand behind your work.

So here’s what you can expect from me now:

· On-time promise. If we set a time, I’m there at that time. If something outside my control changes, you’ll hear from me first with an updated and agreed upon appointment time.

· Respect for your home. I protect your space and leave it cleaner than I found it.

· Clear communication. A written plan, a transparent estimate from one fair formula, an exact arrival time, and your OK before any change, meaning no surprises.

· Mutual respect. I won’t pressure you into extras you don’t need, and I won’t be pressured to compromise safety or quality.

· Golden-Rule pricing. One consistent pricing formula for everyone. No influence from zip code, home value, or perceived income.

· Careful workmanship. No shortcuts: manufacturer specs, durable parts and always done with precision.

· Licensed & insured Independent Contractor. Professional standards from your phone call to the invoice and beyond.
